Take Your Learning Wild: French in the Great Outdoors

Why stay cooped up when the days are getting longer? We believe the best way to
learn a language is to actually live it. Starting this Spring, we’re taking our lessons
into the fresh air:

  • French Hikes: Build your vocabulary while exploring local trails with an expert guide.
  • Cinema Trips: Join us for French film screenings to sharpen your listening skills in a relaxed setting.
  • Real-Life Packages: We now offer 10-lesson packages held in a variety of out-of-classroom settings, designed for those who prefer learning through real-
    world scenarios rather than textbooks.

New May Bi-Weekly Courses

Our popular bi-weekly small group classes return this May. These sessions are designed to be friendly, supportive, and highly effective for rapid progress.
The Details:

  • When: 5th May – 9th June (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
  • Time: 09:30 – 11:00
  • Format: 15 hours total (2 x 1.5-hour sessions per week)
  • Group options : A2, B1 Post-DELF, B2 DELF Exam Preparation, Citizenship.

How to Get Your Lessons Funded

If you live and work in France, you are often entitled to a government-funded training budget that can cover all or part of your French language training.

  • Business Owners & Auto-Entrepreneurs:  if you run your own business, you may be able to cover your French training through your professional
training fund. Contact us and we’ll help you check your eligibility.
  • Hospitality Sector: Budgets for hotel, chalet, and restaurant staff are back. If you manage a team, get in touch soon—these budgets are limited and tend to be claimed quickly.
  • Tax Benefits (SAP Scheme): If you are not entitled to one of the government training budgets and have already used your CPF, you may still benefit from 50% off your French lessons, which can be deducted from your tax bill at the end of the year through the SAP scheme.

Pro Tip: We’ve launched new affordable CPF packages for 2026 that focus purely on face-to-face learning without the mandatory e-learning components.

Learning shouldn’t be lonely! Our Thursday night conversation evenings at Hotel Nevé in Morzine are running until 9 April (18:30 – 19:30).
Don’t worry if you can’t make it before then—we’ll be continuing these social sessions throughout the interseason at various venues. Keep an eye on our Facebook or Instagram for the latest dates and locations.
Ready to start?
Whether you want to check your funding eligibility, join a group course, or book a spot on a mountain hike, we’d love to hear from you.

Liz Palmer – Course coordinator

After gaining an English degree and a teaching qualification, I taught English GCSE and A Level in UK high schools while working with colleagues to develop teaching and learning strategies. Building on this, I've broadened my experience by teaching EFL to professionals in France. Learning French brought me valuable experience as a learner, which in turn helped me develop new teaching skills. Working as a training centre coordinator, I thrive on assisting our team of teachers as well as our learners on their path to learning a language.
