DISCLAIMER
YOU WISH TO ATTEND A COURSE THROUGH THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING SCHEME
Please note the following points:
Professional training schemes in France are considered as a way to improve your business performance and are to be taken seriously.
The financing of professional training is not a given or a freebie. Any financial help you receive towards your course will only be approved and paid if the attendance is 100%. They are not free lessons but a funded way to improve your professional skills such as language learning.
Any untaken lessons or uncompleted hours (including e-learning) will NOT be funded by the financing organisation you are attached to.
PDS Formation is a separate entity to the professional training financers. We act as an intermediary to help our clients understand the system and get the most of the financial help available in France. This includes preparing applications, answering questions, offering suitable packages in order that your course is fully financed etc… There is no additional fee for this service as it’s included in our packages.
It is the client’s responsibility to read all instructions carefully received from PDS Formation and to check that all documents are correct.
As an intermediary, PDS Formation will not be held responsible if the student doesn’t complete all the course within the time given. This can result in not receiving the full funding.
For employed staff, any uncompleted hours in the package will still need to be paid to PDS Formation as it’s part of an agreed package determined at the start of the course.
Your lesson is part of a professional training course so in the case of online lessons, it should be treated like a work meeting and you should therefore:
- Find a quiet place to focus on the class and take notes.
- Make sure you are isolated from any distractions such as pets or children.
- Dress appropriately.
- Take notes and try to remain focused on the content of the lesson.
- Ask your teacher if you don’t understand something and they will go through it again with you.
It is difficult for the teacher to remain focused on your lesson and your progress if the points above are not respected.
